Head Start Retaliation Concerns and Enrollment of High-Risk Children:

 Yesterday, we had a heated discussion about child safety, which I also posted publicly. It appears there may be retaliation from Head Start. This morning, representatives from Head Start reviewed all of our security cameras, looking for anything to hold the school accountable. After watching footage from all classrooms all day, they found nothing improper, as we did nothing wrong.

However, Head Start is now enrolling more children, including those with more severe allergies, and some of these new students also have seizures. I told Head Start clearly that none of our staff have medical training to handle those conditions, and we are not equipped to care for children with severe allergies or seizures. They insisted that I did not have a choice and proceeded with enrollment anyway.

This situation reinforces my decision to document Head Start’s actions toward the school, so I have a record in case anything happens. I’m continuing to monitor and track developments to protect the school and its staff.

Are we providing childcare for illegal aliens

Head Start requires a government-issued ID from parents in order for their children to enroll in the program. Currently, there is no requirement that the ID come from the United States; it can be from any government around the world. We have parents who have submitted passports from countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Honduras, and others. This raises a question: if families are living in the United States, why don’t they have a state-issued government ID? When I raised this with Head Start, I was told that it is not their job to determine immigration status, and that it is not my job to question the government-issued ID.
